Primal Origins discussion

Hello all me again and i'm here to talk about the next set Primal Origins and guys I don't just think this set shall have a big impact on the meta I know. So far in the set there's several arch types that are getting new support ("Ancient Gear", "Bujin", "Dark World", "Galaxy", "Ghostrick", "Gladiator Beast", "Gusto", "Hazy Flame", "Koa'ki Meiru", "Madolche", "Mecha Phantom Beast", "Photon", "Number", "Number C", "Rank-Up-Magic", "Scrap", "Sylvan" and "Traptrix" and "TCG gets more Noble Knights"). Plus so far one new arch type shall be introduced the artifacts. Plus for u guys who like mermails and synchro decks there shall be new support for both in the form of phonon dragon which is a synchro tuner who has the eff of this monster can change its lvl to eithet 1,2,or 3 and Burincess which is anjelly for mermail. Speaking of anjelly that is the new madolche card which makes madolches into godolches. The effect of anjelly is (When this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: Shuffle this card into the Deck. You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Madolche" monster from your Deck. It cannot be destroyed by battle, also shuffle it into the Deck during your next turn's End Phase. You can only use this effect of "Madolche Angelly" once per turn.) Also getting new stuff the sylvan arch type getting it in the form of a graceful charity (sylvan charity) and 2 new boss monster one being an xyz (Sylvan Sagequoia and the xyz Oreia, the Sylvan High Arbiter) i could go into a really in depth review but this is not the time and place.

Also bujins are getting new support in the form of another xyz and another 4 star best warrior (xyz being Bujinki Amaterasu and Bujin Hirume) i wonder why konami keeps giving this arch type so much stuff, but what u going to do. Now for the last arch type i want to talk about for now is Galaxy/Photon and man they got a lot of support. They are getting 2 new xyz (Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon and Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon) which number 62 is a house with its effect (2 Level 8 monsters
If this card attacks or is attacked, during damage calculation (in either player's turn): You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card once per battle; this card gains ATK equal to the total Ranks of all face-up Xyz Monsters currently on the field x 200, during that damage calculation only. If this card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect while it has "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" as an Xyz Material: You can activate this effect; Special Summon this card during your 2nd Standby Phase after activation, and if you do, double its ATK. If this card does not have "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" as an Xyz Material, any battle damage your opponent takes from attacks involving this card is halved.) Well this looks like a good stopping point so i'll keep u guys on the up and up on new info on this as it comes so remember guys.

ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWA

Really the set is just massive support, no real new archtype like most packs do. Madolches being the one deck that will become rapidly OP with Angely and Koaki's will become finally good, a bit too good. Dark Worlds will be introduced to the rank 6 OP-ness now with M7 bouncing Grapha, for more pops. Gladiator Beast T_T that guy sucks.... but at least better than any useless GB monster right now so it may get some play.

Im most excited for the new DW, dat sexy sexy star duston, and some trapix niceness. I can finally make dustons and traptrix with their new support with the deck being at least semi-decent. That new penguin cracks me up and the scrap field looks SUPER good.

Well when you think about it, the fact that the pack is a whole lot of support for old archetypes is probably where the name Primal Origins comes from.

Well they introduce the Artifact archetype, but yeah there isnt anything else :/ Really diggin dat archfiend avatar btw

Thanks Friend of Fiend, but my point was that the definite focus of this set is new support for old archetypes. But yeah, they do introduce the token new archetype in this pack. It's a good idea, but its just half-assed and, in my opinion, takes a definite back seat to what I think the set's name comes from.
